Our relationship with the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians (KAFP) started in the summer of 2020, when we received a large order for our Ad Astra Per Aspera t-shirts from the great City of Plainville, KS. Our curiosity had us immediately wanting to know more. For one, the size of the individual order was quite large, but additionally, Kinfolk partner Toby Kuhn’s family hails from Plainville! This customer turned out to be none other than the amazing #vaccinehero herself, Dr. Jen Brull, M.D.! If you don’t know Jen, she is a dedicated family physician and board member for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Her purchase was to outfit her entire team with our Ad Astra tees as a symbol of unity, and we could not be more proud! Thank you, Dr. Jen!

A short time later, the fine folks at KAFP (whom Jen is also involved with) contacted us to ask if we would partner with their team for a fundraising event. Of course, we said yes, and together we created an awesome set of products designed to build champions of family medicine in Kansas.
