The Humboldt Thunderbolt
June 14th in Southeast Kansas was awesome! A project we’ve all been working on for a few years now finally is complete. This super-special message and tribute to a baseball legend from a loyal fan has been reborn. And what makes it even more amazing is that it all happened right here in Kansas. Humboldt, Kansas… birthplace of The Humboldt Thunderbolt. The Big Train. Walter Johnson. A baseball LEGEND.
I won’t begin to explain further the magnitude of this effort. It’s SO MUCH BETTER to hear it from the family themselves. Check out the trailer to an upcoming doc by Aaron Thompson.
UPDATE: See the finished documentary!
Thank you to all who played a part in this project. We had a great team!
