Camping for KU men’s basketball game seats at Allen Fieldhouse has been a tradition since the 1970’s. Though no one knows exactly when “camping” started, it has become one of the most well known traditions at the University of Kansas. The morning following every home game, students gather for a lottery where they take a chance to get the number one spot in line for the next home game. For days leading up to the game, students camp inside Allen Fieldhouse, our favorite "site" since 1955!
